This 28 day challenge was born from a place of welcoming back the whole month of a woman's cycle. Often, it's just the time of menstruation that we give any consideration to our cycle. Our complete cycle is the inner compass to our bodies needs, and a guide to living a more balanced, meaningful connected life.

Yesterday I shared I started to feel the shift from winter to my spring. I was quite active, however last night I felt the surge of energy leave my body. Perhaps I peaked too soon.
Whenever I'm overtired, my sleep suffers. I was awake at 4.30am, I feel shattered this morning. In all honesty, I was emotional and physically very active, I knew it was too soon. So today I must make up for it, and rest.
As move out of one phase to another I commence this period with a 24 water fast to support the shift. Rising Oestrogen also has a slight appetite-suppressing effect, hence why today I am feeling perfectly in my power to water fast.
