SINGING MUMA
Eugény Couture is an award winning aromatherapist, multi-disciplinary massage therapist and crystal healer. She practices and teaches from Hove and Brighton. Eugény has a passion for healing modalities and so, in addition to her complementary therapies, she is a student astrologer, a Tarot reader and has always been interested in the healing and connective qualities of singing. She played Cello and Piano as a child, was taught to read music before her teens and was educated in all things choral and classical by her Mum, growing up near Paris. Consequently, Eugény has sung with formal choirs across Europe, the last being the Bristol Bach Choir, in 2015. When Eugény found out she was pregnant in 2017, she immediately had a yearning for connectivity to a community: a community of women where everyone’s experience and emotion could be shared with each other within the circle. She believes that all women deserve the sense of love and belonging singing can bring, especially after child birth where changes can be so massive and overwhelming. As a result she completed a Choir Leader training in June 2019 with the Singing Mamas Choir Community Interest Company, and opened her first singing circle of women in Hove the following September.
